XML ACCESS OPTION

SoftRIP Features

Big shops and specialty workflows demand powerful tools, based on common standards used by all modern systems integrators.

The XML Access Option for Wasatch SoftRIP allows jobs to be submitted by dropping an XML file into a hot folder. Working together with SoftRIP's integrated HTTP network server, it can also be used for the creation of custom user interfaces that run in web browsers, using HTML and JavaScript.

Implementing an XML workflow means a workflow that is completely customizable. It's a great way to build a web-to-print solution, variable data printing systems, or a central control for big shops to automate all job submission. The browser-based user interface can be located far from the RIP, on computers running any operating system, or on smartphones and iPad's. Jobs can be submitted from across the building or across a continent, and multiple Wasatch SoftRIP systems can accept jobs from a central control point.

Simple Syntax

Designed to be quick and simple to learn, the features of this option are documented in ImageNET Network Services in the Help Subjects of your copy of Wasatch SoftRIP.

The XML Access Option can greatly enhance any workflow, speeding up production time and efficiency!
