Screen Angles in Wasatch SoftRIP


There are two common ways to specify an angle.

 
How angles are specified in
secondary-school math
How angles are sometimes
specified by printers
 

The conversion between these two systems is shown below


new angle = 180 - old angle

When screen angles are specified in Wasatch SoftRIP, with either PostScript Screens or Wasatch Precision Rosette Screens, the system used is that which is typically used in secondary-school math classes, as shown on the left. Keep this in mind when specifying screens.
