Monochrome Tiff Color Separations

This optional driver operates in roughly the same way as the many monochrome printer drivers that are used for the production of color separations with Wasatch SoftRIP.

The difference is that the output of this driver is directed to one or more 1-bit-deep Tiff files, suitable for passing to imagesetters or other output devices.

Most of these controls are similar to those of other monochrome drivers in Wasatch SoftRIP.

Special care is required with the controls that allow the user to specify output dpi, with separate controls for horizontal and vertical resolution. These controls allow a range from 10 dpi to 5000 dpi.

When using this driver with Wasatch Precision Rosette Screens, be particularly careful to accurately match the resolution settings in this driver. You can generate a custom Rosette for the specified resolution by clicking on the 'Generate Screen' button.
