The color separations controls are only available when monochrome modes are selected.

Cutting is only available if the "CUTTING" variable is enabled.

Selecting a cutting registration mark for Print now, Cut Later workflows

If you would like to use the automatic registration feature of this printer, select the "Generated by printer" option from the "Cutting Mark" menu on the Print/Configuration screen.

Device-Specific Instructions for Print now, Cut Later

If you wish to laminate the print or simply do the cutting operation at a different time than immediately following the print, disable the cutter in on the properties sheet.

To ensure that you can re-align the media in the printer, enable "Cutting Registration Marks" from the Print/Configuration screen. Graphtec-specific registration marks will be printed on each side of the print.

After you have reloaded the media onto the printer, do the following to align the cutter:

  1. Press the Mode button on the front panel to change the mode to Cutting.
  2. Press the Alignment button on the front panel, then select 2 Axis (by pressing F4).
  3. Move the cutter tip into the space to the front right of the print by using the arrow keys on the front panel. More information on this is available on page 11-9 of the printer user's manual.
  4. Press Enter on the front panel twice. The printer will then search out the origin point and register marks.

The cutter is now ready for the cut path to be sent from the Cutting Queue.

If the cut is not in alignment, you may need to run the adjustment described on page 11-11 of the user's manual ("Adjusting the Registration Mark Sensor").
