Print from a Cell Phone

Alternative interfaces can be simple or complex. For example, a simple web upload service can be created by replacing default.html with this: <HTML> <HEAD><TITLE>Prompt</TITLE> <META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> </HEAD> <BODY> <h1>Welcome to the Wasatch Print Kiosk</h1> <h3>Upload a File</h3> <p/> <FORM METHOD="POST" ACTION="uploader.dyn" ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data"> <INPUT NAME="destination" type="hidden" value="C:/incoming2">File: <INPUT NAME="thefile" type="file" SIZE=50> <BR> <p/> <INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" VALUE="Upload File Now"> </FORM> <p/> </BODY> </HTML> That will enable browsers on computers, tablets, and cell phones to simply upload files to Wasatch Hot Folders. Richer and more powerful interfaces, such as AJAX interfaces, and other workflows, can easily be built on this foundation, particularly when combined with the Automation option. Review the Automation option for more information on this foundation for custom web-based interfaces.
