Print Mode Properties:
If you click on the Properties button next to the Printer Model window on the Imaging
Configuration screen, the following control panel for this printer will be displayed:
- Print Mode: Select the resolution for printing.
- Inkset: Displays the inkset that the print will use.
- Dot Type: Choose between fixed or variable dot types.
- Color Dot Size: With a fixed dot type selected, this option allows the dot size to be set (1-3).
- Spot Color Dot Size: With a fixed dot type selected, set the dot size for the White/Varnish (1-3).
- Oversampling: Sets the level of oversampling to use on the file.
- Destination Folder: Specify the output folder for the file.
Auto-Generation Options:
The Auto-Generation tab is available when the white inkset CMYKW has been selected.

- No Auto-Generation: Generate white channels using spot color replacement.
- Auto-Generate inks from traced areas: The white channels will be applied only to the traced areas that have been set using the Trace tab in the main Softrip interface.
- Auto-Generate the entire page: Prints white behind the entire page.
- Auto-Generate where other inks are used: Prints white on all non-zero pixels (marked areas). In addition, a "choke" or "spread" may be selected.
Note: A choke shrinks the white plate in relation to the printed area.

Ink Density: Controls the density percentage for the white/varnish channel.
