Important:
Remember that color reproduction is controlled by ICC color profiles, and not by Wasatch software. We have not been able to get these printers into our lab, and therefore we have not been able create any color profiles for them. You should contact your dealer for further support with ICC color profiles, or arrange to produce your own.

Due to lack of access to this printer, Wasatch's service department cannot provide the same level of support that we provide for most other printers. Please rely on your dealer for support of this device.

Printer Properties:

If you click on the Properties button next to the Printer Model window in the Imaging Configuration screen, the following control panel for this printer will be displayed:

The Printer Properties window has the following settings.

Print Mode: Choose the desired mode to use during printing. The available list of print modes for the Reggiani Next 180 may need to be adjusted, see the section "Reggiani Next 180 Print Modes", below.
Inkset: Select a previously created inkset, from the drop-down menu, or choose the Starter Inkset to begin creating a new inkset.
- Create Inkset: Create a new inkset.
- Edit Inkset: Edit an existing inkset.
- Delete Inkset: Delete an existing inkset.
Dot Type: Choose to print with a fixed dot or with a variable dot.
Left Confidence Stripe: Select to print the left side confidence stripe.
Right Confidence Stripe: Select to print the right side confidence stripe.
Destination Folder: Specify where to save the output files.

For further information on the setup and operation of this device, please consult your user's manual.

Reggiani Next 180 Print Modes:

The Print Modes listed for the Reggiani Next 180 may be different than the ones needed. If additional modes are available then the default modes supplied by Wasatch may be replaced.

The following folder, located in the printers folder of the SoftRIP install, contains the default modes:

c:\wwripXX\printers\reggianiNext180Components

NOTE: SoftRIP may have been installed on a different drive than C:

Delete all the files from the "reggianiNext180Components" folder, then copy the new files you were provided into the folder. The print mode files should be saved as the .ini file type.
