Xenons 6740 Help page
November 12, 2012
Support for the Xenons 6740 is available as an optional add-on for Wasatch
Please note that color reproduction is controlled by ICC color profiles, and not by Wasatch software. We have not been able to get these printers into our lab, and therefore we have not been able create any color profiles for them. You should contact your dealer for further support with ICC color profiles, or arrange to produce your own.
Because of lack of access to this printer, Wasatch's service department cannot provide the same level of support that we provide for most other printers. Please rely on your dealer for support of this device.
Print Mode:
Pressing the Properties button next to the Printer Model window on the Imaging Configurations screen will launch a control panel for this printer.

This Properties control panel allows you to select the print mode and inkset, dot type, and size.
- Print Mode: Choose resolution and inkset.
- Dot Type: Select the dot type, Fixed or Variable.
- Dot Size: Various dot sizes can be selected. Not all dot sizes are available for every resolution.
Color Separations
When you click on the Color Separations tab, the following Properties page will be displayed:

Color Separations: The Color Separations controls become active when a Monochrome Mode is selected.
- Make Separations on RIP: This option will create CMYK separations when the file is ripped.
- Make Negative: All color separations will be printed inversed, making a film negative instead of a film positive.
- K, C, M, Y, 5, 6: This allows you to print monochrome images to any of the heads in the printer. This is especially useful to eliminate overuse of a single printhead when printing only monochrome.
