Custom Hot Folders

Wasatch SoftRIP includes simple and basic hot folder capability, but by replacing this with a script it is easy to produce endless variety and customization. These examples use the 'xmlsubmission.dyn' feature of XML Access, part of Automation Option, an extra-cost option for Wasatch SoftRIP.

In most of these scripts, the hot folder is one you create when setting up. You then edit the script to look at it. This has nothing to do with the "Hot Folder" selection of the "Server" menu in SoftRIP. These scripts are a complete replacement for that feature, and that should be left turned off when using these scripts.
