Print Mode:

Pressing the button next to the Printer Model window on the Imaging Configurations screen will launch a control panel for this printer.


Advanced Settings:

When you click on Advanced Settings, the following properties page will be displayed:


Color Separations:

When you click on Color Separations, the following Properties page will be displayed:

These controls are only available if a monochrome mode has been selected as the Ink Type.


Physical Connection Notes:

The printer's onboard USB and Ethernet connections are recommended connection methods.

If you are using the optional IEEE 1394 (Firewire) interface card for the Canon iPF 5000 series we recommend you connect to your printer's firewire port via a Windows Generic / Text Only printer to improve reliability.
